After school story time and craft time for children
Once a week, the librarian puts on a story and craft time. Kids look forward to this activity all week every week.
YARN CLUB
In response to patron interest, a community yarn club meets once a week. The librarian provides a simple project for beginners while more experienced club members work on their current projects. One twelve-year-old member went to state with her fair project last year! Kids have made hats, headbands, scarves, cross stitched patterns, and more.
Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program keeps the community alive and vibrant throughout the summer. Kids track how many minutes they read and then come to weekly activities. They turn in minutes for free prizes and books!
Community Book Club: The Bell, Book and Candle Society
The book club meets monthly and provides a fun environment for reading, discussing, and socializing.
Christmas Gathering - An Ornament-Making Party!
Early in December, the whole community is invited to the library to make holiday ornaments. It's an open house and lots of fun. A great community-building activity!
